Chilean police arrest 11 int'l
drug dealers
Chilean police on Thursday
arrested 11 international drug
smugglers and seized 400 kg of
cocaine, police said.
The group of drug dealers -- six
Chileans, three Colombians, a
Venezuelan and an Israeli -- was
caught when they attempted to
smuggle 400 kg of cocaine to
Spain.
The arrest came when the police
raided a laboratory used to
purify drugs in Linares,
southern Chile, early on
Thursday, and hit a fruit export
company later in Yerbas Buenas
in the same region.
The company had been used to
ship drugs overseas, police
said.
The prosecutor said the arrest
dealt a heavy blow on
