At least 5 die, 30 injured in Colombian church collapse
At least five people were killed and 30 others injured on Sunday when a storm triggered a church roof collapse in Bituima, in central Colombia, police said.

Colonel Wilson Laverda, head of the Cundinamarca police, said the incident happened at around 12:00 p.m. (1700 GMT) in the town, 200 km from the Colombian state of Cundinamarca.

The congregation was celebrating Palm Sunday when a blast of strong wind and hail overturned part of the church roof.

The injured were taken to the medical facilities in the town of Fusagasuga, 60 km south of the capital, the police said.
