Prepare Yourself As Rainy Season Comes Early To San Jose

Waking up this morning (Sunday) in San Jose and seeing that it is or has been raining, it can only mean one thing, the rainy season is about to start and time to break out the umbrella.

According to the national weather service, the rainy season is scheduled to begin between May 6 and 11, but was we can see this morning, mother nature has decided to give us a taste early, with pouring rain since the early hours of the morning.

The Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) says that the rains between May and July will be normal for the season for the Pacific north and Central Valley area, which in reality means less rain than last year.

Although the rainy season is in effect in the Central Valley, it won't be until another week or more before it becomes the norm in the Pacific north area of Guanacaste.
