Chile, Turkey Trade Pact Relevant, Bachelet
Santiago de Chile - Chilean President Michelle Bachelet
called "historic" a Free Trade Agreement with Turkey
as bilateral trade exchange expands.
The accord -signed by Turkish Foreign Minister Zafer
Caglayan and Chilean Peer Mariano Fernandez-
approves of potential tax-free imports while
exemption for other products will be effected within
six years.
Such term will benefit Chilean mining, agribusiness,
fisheries and forestry, boost the national economy,
access an economic area of great potential and help
Chile overcome the crisis. |
