Panamanians Back Cuban Revolution
Panama - Several social organizations from Panama on Sunday voiced their solidarity with Cuba, in a statement marking the 50th anniversary of the Revolution.

In the text issued in Veraguas, they called “to follow the example of the Cuban government and people” with higher organization “to face Imperialism anywhere it is.”

During a forum to mark the Cuban Revolution´s anniversary, the Panamanian solidarity groups also supported the fight for the release of five Cuban anti-terrorists unfairly imprisoned in the United States since 1998.

The activists also advocated for reinforcing ties with the Cuban people.

They warned Cuba continues to be the target of the greatest economic, military, and political power of all times: the United States of America, which is using any mean possible in its attempt to take hold of the island´s natural and human resources.”
