Interamericana Norte Sports A  "Big"  Pothole

The Interamericana Norte, two kilometres north of Liberia, is with "paso regulado", as crater 2 metres in diameter and 5 metres depth, appeared in the middle of the road.

Transportation officials say the crater was due to ruptured water and sewer lines under the road, mainly due to the heavy trucks on the road.

The Policía de Tránsito has made a call to all drivers, especially heavy trucks and buses cruising through the area, to slow down and use extreme caution, while the road is repaired.
