Cuban Doctors Efforts Extolled
in Nicaragua
Managua - Cuban doctors members of the brigade Ernesto Che Guevara
were decorated for their contribution to the health of the peoples
of Nicaragua.
During an activity celebrated at the Embassy of Cuba to Nicaragua,
12 physicians have received Certificates of Recognition.
Some of the speakers coincide to mention Doctors Yaranis Hernandez
Orias, Zoraida Montero, Bernardo Luis, Yanelis Carcamo, Clara
Velazco, Yania Norman, Raul Garcia and Elpido Ortiz, among others,
as those with best performance.
They received a message from Cuba’s Health Minister Jose Ramon
Balaguer, read aloud by the leader of the brigade Vivian Chavez,
which stresses the spirit of solidarity shown by the Cuban Doctors.
This group has assisted more than 1, 764 000 people, saved 363
lives, operated 3,893 personas and carried out an unlimited number
of solidarity actions since their arrival in Nicaragua. |
