Bilateral Cooperation

Vice Prime Minister Igor
Sechin met here on
Wednesday and discussed
bilateral cooperation.
During the
more-than-one-hour
meeting, Maduro and
Sechin reviewed
cooperation projects in
the fields of energy,
science, technology,
military and discussed
ways of strengthening
bilateral commercial
ties, the Venezuelan
Foreign Ministry said.
They also discussed
bilateral cooperation in
science, education and
culture.
The talks were in
preparation for a
meeting of the
high-level
inter-governmental
commission, which is
scheduled to take place
in Caracas on Oct.
16-17.
Sechin was accompanied
by Russian Ambassador to
Venezuela Mikhail
Orlovets, Russian Energy
Minister Sergey Shmatko
and Russian Foreign Vice
Minister Sergey Ryabkov. |
