MICI officials are meetings with representatives of the Authority of Public Services and the Ministry of Agricultural Development, among other agencies.

Trade and Industry Minister Carmen Gisela Vergara pointed out that consultations are important for designing a negotiation strategy to be used in Canada's case.

The talks involve the guilds linked to the dairy industry, tomato, pork, sugar, coffee, flour and industrial products.

The MICI has created a working agenda with different companies and associations to prepare for the negotiations.
