"Saprissa" Bridge Closed Tonight and Tomorrow
Beginning at 8pm tonight and until 5am Monday, the bridge over the river Virilla, near the Saprissa stadium, on route 32 will be completely closed to vehicular traffic.

Route 32 is the main road between San José and points west of Limón and the closure of the bridge will mean drivers have to find an alternate route, like going through Heredia, to get to points like Guapiles. For those heading to Siquirres and Limón, the Turrialba route may be of preference.

The bridge is getting a facelift with a 8 metre concrete pavement to avoid the potholes forming on the surface of the structure.
