Argentina Arrests 15 For Irregularities On Soccer Transfers
At least 15 persons were detained Friday for allegedly irregularities on the buy-sell of Argentine soccer players.

Argentine federal judge Norberto Oyarbide ordered the detentiona nd 110 break in, the operatives were performed in different places of Argentina, most of them in the province of Buenos Aires.

One of the irregularities that are being investigated is the falsification of passports to make easer the transfer of Argentine soccer players to European clubs.

President of the Argentine Lanus soccer club Alejandro Maron, who also is the secretary of the Legal Issues of the Argentine Soccer (AFA) told local TV channel Todo Noticias (TN) that the legal causes "have to do with the procedure of the citizenship" and he denied any relation of Lanus club with the case.

Oyarbide ordered to investigate the Italian consulate in Pinamar and Lanus club.

The investigation began past year due to a denouncement on the allegedly falsification of passports of the Argentine soccer players.
