Power Cuts Planned in Escazú and Santa Ana Beginning Tuesday
The Compañía Nacional de Fuerza y Luz (CNFL) - light and power company - advises that they will be shutting down electrical power in Escazú, Santa Ana, Río Oro and Piedades tomorrow to permit them relocate power lines.

The suspension of service will effect areas in Escazú between 6:00am and 8:00am Tuesday as work crews carry out pole replacement between Plaza Auto Star and Multiplaza.

Also on Tuesday, starting 7:00am and ending at 4:00pm, areas of Santa Ana will be without power.

Affected will be Urbanización Valle del Sol and the Alto de las Palomas on the old road to Santa Ana to the Escuela Isabel la Católica in Río Oro to the east.

On Wednesday, residents of Río Oro and Piedades will have power cut as work crews continue relocating posts.
