Announces Commencement of
Outsourced Manufacturing
Operation in Costa Rica
American Technical Ceramics
Corp., a leading manufacturer of
high-performance electronic
components, including capacitors
and thin film circuits for a
broad range of commercial and
military applications, today
announced the official
commencement of an outsourced
passive component finishing and
assembly operation in Costa
Rica.
ATC will be working with
CAMtronics s.a., an electronics
contract manufacturing firm
located in the Zeta Free Zone
Industrial Park in Cartago.
Victor Insetta, President and
CEO of ATC, said, "This
operation provides ATC with a
low-cost labor capability and
increased finishing and assembly
capacity to support our
customers and our continued
global sales growth objectives.
We now have 82 CAMtronics'
employees in Costa Rica
dedicated to working on our
products. We have benchmarked
this operation against our New
York and Florida resistor and
capacitor manufacturing lines
utilizing ATC owned equipment,
procedures and standards. We
expect this operation will make
a major contribution to the
future performance objectives of
ATC."

electronic components, including
ceramic multilayer capacitors
and custom thin film circuits.
The Company's products are
utilized in a broad range of
commercial and military
applications, including wireless
infrastructure, fiber optics,
