"La Fanatica Más Sexy" Contest Begins
The daily Spanish language newspaper Al Día today begins its contest "La Fanatica Más Sexy" in keeping with the World Cup frenzy that is being lived in Costa Rica in anticipation of the June 9 opening game with Germany and Costa Rica.

The Al Día is displaying photos of the 32 candidates, who are dressed in scanty bikinis, and asking readers to vote for their favourite. Readers in Costa Rica are asked to use their cellular telephone by sending a short text message to 6111 and waiting for a response with the code to access the website gallery of fotos. Readers can also dial 900 800 2002 to obtain their code.

Trying to dial the number from outside of Costa Rica (011 506 900 800 2002) only gave us a "lines are temporarily busy, please try again" message.

Once you have obtained your code, you can then access their website, review the fotos of the beautiful ladies and cast your vote.

Voting can also win you a car. Al Día is giving away each week us$6.000 in prizes and a brand new Mitsubishi Colt as the grand prize at the end of the contest. The more you vote the more chances of winning.
