Friday.
The
quake
was felt
throughout
the
country
with an
epicentre
in the
area of
the
Tilaran,
west of
the
Arenal
Volcano,
with a
depth of
70
kilometres,
lasting
almost
20
seconds,
according
to the
U.S.
Geological
Survey,
National
Earthquake
Information
Centre:
World
Data
Center
for
Seismology,
Denver.
The
exact
location
is:
10.105°N,
84.261°W
Reports
indicate
power
failures
in many
areas,
particularly
in the
province
of
Alajuela.
No
reports
of
injuries
or
damage
to
property
was
reports.
The

network
is
failing
in many
areas.
Many are
using

and
Facebook

messages
and
obtain
reports
of the
earthquake.
