Panama Mayors On Probe
PANAMA - Law enforcement and election
officials investigate 12 of the mayors
elected last May.
The Elections Court says Panama City Mayor
Bosco Vallarino heads the list for, among
other, laying, power abuse and corruption.
In San Miguelito, Hector Valdes Carrasquilla
is accused of political harassment and
withholding checks.
The other mayors on probe are from Panama,
Colon, Darien, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas and
Chiriqui provinces. |
