Argentina: Starts Free Vaccination
Buenos Aires - More than four
million Argentinean children will be
vaccinated for free from Monday against
measles and poliomyelitis, two viral
diseases that mainly affect minors under
five years old.
The vaccination campaign will last five
weeks, until next October 31st and will take
place in the whole national territory, said
Juan Manzur, Minister of Health of the
country.
Manzur indicated last week that the goal is
to exceed a 95 per cent coverage (of
vaccinated infants in that age group),
which, he said, can be considered acceptable
regarding the country.
