Managua - The
Nicaraguan authorities keeps on National
Health alert to face outbreak of A(H1N1)
virus and others related with dengue and leptospirosis, according to the Health
Ministry''s report.
The authorities' report 85 noted that there
are several types of viruses circulating in
Nicaragua related with flu and other
diseases that make the situation of a
patient worse if he also catch the flu.
Twenty one new cases have been registered in
the last few hours increasing the number of
people infected with the A(H1N1) flu to
1,694 and 7 deaths.
From this total 1,527 have already been
discharged and do not pass the disease on
and 167 are still under care and with
medical treatment.
Meanwhile voluntary brigades are visiting
the houses one by one to identify people
with risking factors such as pregnancy,
puerperium, morbid obesity, chronic diseases
like diabetes, asthma, all types of cancers,
heart diseases, among others. |
