Honduras Resistance Continues on Streets
Tegucigalpa -
The Honduran popular forces will go back to
the street to demand for the constitutional
order broken by last June 28 military coup,
confirmed the leaders of the movement.
The general coordinator of the National
Front against the coup Juan Barahona
informed that in a leadership meeting was
agreed to continue fighting against the de
Facto government all the necessary time.
Barahona said the rest of the activities for
the week have been approved in the meeting
and he step forward only those scheduled for
Monday and Tuesday in the 188 years of the
National Independence. He recalled that
because of security and to hinder the police
forces operations the demonstrations will be
announced on time.
He emphasized the marches will take place
all along the 18 departments of the country
and will be attended by teachers that agreed
a new national strike for Thursday and
Friday.
In its first national assembly nine days ago
that alliance of popular forces agreed to
strengthen all structures all over the
country.
The popular forces demanded restitution of
the state of rights and also to reinstate
President Manuel Zelaya and a call for a
National Constituent Assembly. |
