Turkey-Costa Rica To Be Replayed
The FIFA U-17 World Cup Nigeria 2009 Group D
game between Turkey and Costa Rica kicked
off at 8.30 (local time) on 28 October, but
needed to be abandoned after 21 minutes due
to hazardous weather conditions.
Due to heavy rain in the area, the pitch at
the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium was rendered
unplayable.
The game will be replayed, in its entirety -
in conformity with Law 7 of the Laws of the
Game, today at the same venue at 5.00
(local time).
