Achievements in Nicaragua
MANAGUA - The Bolivarian Alliance for the
Peoples of Our America (ALBA) shows concrete
achievements in Nicaragua with its
development projects, a source form the
sector sustained.
Engineer Rafael Paniagua, general manager of
ALBA Nicaragua S.A. (ALBANISA) projects
pointed out that the current 34 ALBA
programs open new prospects.
The number of initiatives was brought from
29 to 34 with the recent signing of another
five to be implemented by ALBA Food S.A. (ALBALINISA).
Two slaughterhouses in the Autonomous Region
of South Atlantic will allow processing over
500 heads of cattle daily.
In addition, two dairy factories will be set
up in Matagalpa, with an investment of 20
million dollars, to produce nearly half
million litters of milk and dairy products
daily. The official also noted that the ALBA
projects generate jobs, with 134,000 created
so far.
The ALBA attainments also includes the
subsidize for urban transport in the
capital, which benefits nearly 2 million
people daily by allowing to maintain the bus
fare at 2.50 cordobas. |
