Panama: Commercial Competitiveness Boosted

PANAMA - The Trade House (CCIAP) of Panama will carry out a forum about competitiveness, in order to give its members the most recent methods in that subject, reported Tuesday entity sources.

To the meeting, under the slogan "Competitiveness: The future of Latin America", will attend local and international lecturers such as Luis del Rivero, President of the Spanish company Sacyr Vallehermoso and Guillermo Lasso, chief of Guayaquil Bank. The experts will discuss, in three panels, about the Strengthening of Institutions and the Business Initiative, 21st Century competitiveness in Ibero America and the importance of the infrastructure for the future, among other aspects.

"Competitiveness is an important subject in the national policies for socioeconomic development", said CCIAP president Adolfo Linares.

"Panama should know how to develop such policies efficiently in order to achieve productivity standards, which allow us to advance".
