Gas Prices
Coming Down Again
By mid November gasoline prices will drop
again, the second decrease in a row, with
the latest approval by the Autoridad
Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (Aresep).
The price of a litre of super and regular
gasoline will drop ¢14 colones, while diesel
only ¢2 colones.
Natural gas used for cooking as well as
vehicles converted from gasoline will drop
¢0.41 tents of a colones.
Ana Carolina Mora, spokesperson for the
Aresep, said that the decrease is due to the
steady hold of the exchange rate of the
colon to the US dollar.
So, by mid November the price of a litre of
super gasoline will drop from the current
¢575 to ¢561, regular from ¢558 to ¢544 and
diesel from ¢486 to ¢484. |
