Latest Negotiation Efforts In Honduras Fail
TEGUCIGALPA -
A delegation of foreign ministers and top
diplomats from the Organization of American
States left the Honduran capital,
Tegucigalpa, on Thursday after a day and a
half of talks failed to make headway on
resolving the country’s political crisis.
The sticking point is the return of the
deposed president, Manuel Zelaya, who is
still holed up in the Brazilian Embassy
under threat of arrest by the de facto
government, which took over after ousting
him on June 28. |
