Traffic Accident Deaths Down
The Ministerio de Obras Públicas y
Transportes (MOPT) statistics show that the
number deaths on the country's roads is down
this year by 36 over the same period last
year.
The MOPT reports that so far this year there
have been 223 deaths from traffic accidents,
with drunk driving continuing to be the
number one cause of fatal accidents.
