Bachelet, Lula to Talk in Brazil
Santiago - Presidents Michelle Bachelet
(Chile) and Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva
(Brazil) will hold talks Thursday in Sao
Paulo.
President Bachelet will head Wednesday for
Brazil to develop an agenda aimed at
reinforcing bilateral ties and talk on the
coup in Honduras, the global economic crisis
and the future of the South American Union
of Nations (UNASUR).
Lula and Bachelet will confirm a bilateral
accord on social security to benefit
thousands of nationals that migrated to both
countries.
During the visit, the University of Sao
Paulo and Chile's Education Ministry will
sign an accord that gives Chile 50 annual
post-graduate scholarships.
