Arabs in Chile Denounce Racists Threats
Santiago de Chile - The Palestinian
Federation in Chile on Sunday denounced
racist messages were painted in Hebrew close
to their community headquarters in Santiago
de Chile, and demanded police protection in
case of possible attacks.
Phrases like "Palestine does not exist" and
"Arab equal to Terrorism" are part of the
slogans painted on walls and sidewalks near
the Palestinian Club and the Arab college
along with a signing in Hebrew with the
slogan "Israeli people is alive".
The federation noted the messages denied the
existence of a thousand-year-old people
fighting against the Israeli illegal
occupation.
According to a statemen released here on
Sunday the Federation considered the threats
not only move away peace alternatives even
more, but that they bring to this country a
sensible and close conflict for our
community.
