Panama Small Revenue Increase
Panama - The average revenue to the
budget of Panama measured in June at 393.4
million dollars, 20 million dollars higher
than the scheduled amount for the period,
official sources reported Friday.
According to the ministry of Economy and
Finances, 308.8 million dollars correspond
to the tributary contributions, 61 millions
more than in similar month of the year 2008.
The Direct and Artificial Rent taxes
overcame the result of last year by 28,3
million and 39,2 million, respectively.
This way, the collections of the first
semester of the 2009 arrived to 1.79 billion
dollars.
