The
Number Is Not In Service; 3G System Fails
For Several Hours
Callers to their friends, family or anyone
connect to the 3G cellular service got the
message "the number is not in service, does
not belong to any registered customer".
The failure to connect a call occurred
between 5:30pm and 7:30pm, Monday night.
Although calls could be made from 3G
numbers, no incoming calls were being
connected.
The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad
(ICE) said that a problem occurred with the
international calls system, requiring a
reprogramming of the 3G network.
