Hike Expected To Take Effect Saturday
Get ready to fill your gasoline tank by
midnight Friday as the recently approved
price increase is expected to take effect at
12:01am Saturday.
The price hike is expected to be published
in the official government publication, La
Gaceta, on Friday, and the new higher prices
take effect the day following.
The prices at the pumps across the nation
will increase ¢24 colones for a litre of
super, ¢26 for plus or regular and ¢23 for
diesel.
With the increase, come Saturday, a litre of
super will cost ¢573, regular ¢588 and ¢511
for diesel.
