Destabilizing Plan in Venezuela Border
Denounced
CARACAS - Venezuelan deputies denounced Friday the
intention of political destabilization in
the border with Colombia due to riots
registered this week in the state of Tachira,
termed an essay for greater actions in the
country.
The situation in Tachira got complicated
with violent incidents occurred on Wednesday
in Los Andes University, where two trucks
were burned, the unjustified closing of gas
stations, and crowd in front of banks due to
rumors of closure.
Deputy Julio Garcia Jarpa told regional
newspaper La Nacion that the situation is
related to "coup agents' behaviors,
following the plan designed for Venezuela by
the Pentagon."
The paramilitary group lashes out against
workers and fires state vehicles to minimize
support to public services, the deputy said.
According to him, this concern in applying
destabilizing strategies included in the war
manual of fourth generation to provoke
anxiety in people and create subversive
stages. The aim is to use the state of
Tachira as a lab to try strategies, with the
intention of exporting the experience to the
rest of the country.
