Morales Campaign Ends with Big Celebration
LA PAZ - The Movement for Socialism (Movimiento
al Socialismo, MAS) election campaign will
close on Thursday with a big popular
festivity in El Alto Bolivian city.
"Bolivian people will have a national close,
a big democratic party", announced the MAS
campaign spokesman, Jorge Silva.
On the other hand, the MAS executive
secretary in La Paz, Samuel Guarayos, said
that social, rural and indigenous movements
coordinated the celebration.
According to Guarayos, all member
organizations of Bolivian Workers' Center
and National Council for Change will take
place in the demonstration.
La Paz MAS first deputy candidate Hector
Arce said that the president and his ticket
partner vice-president Alvaro Garcia will
also attend.
