70 Cases Of
AH1N1 In Limón In The Last Two Weeks
The AH1N1 flu virus has hit the port city of
Limón by storm, the ministerio de Salud
reporting 70 new cases in the last 15 days.
The ministra de salud, María Luisa Avila
said there are another 25 patients in
hospital similar with the AH1N1 virus, which
have yet to be confirmed.
The ministra said that more health officials
will be sent to the Caribbean coast to treat
the patients and to begin preventive
measures.
In contract to Limón, the AH1N1 virus
appears to be showing a tendency towards
decrease, both in the confirmation of cases
and the number of deaths, as compared to the
previous month. |
