Extradites Six Drug
Traffickers To U.S.
Bogota - The Colombian
government extradited six people who were
charged with drug-trafficking to the United
States, the president's press office said on
Wednesday.
According to the press release, three people
were wanted by the court of the State of
Florida State, two by the court for the
Southern District of New York and the other
by the district court for the District of
Columbia.
The Colombian government has extradited at
least 150 Colombians for committing crimes
of drug-trafficking or money laundering this
year. About 100 were extradited to the
United States.
