Legislature "Demon Free"
Legislators yesterday got an unusual visit
at the Asemblea Legislativa, an exorcist, in
the name of Padre José Antonio Fortea, one
of the best known demonologist and exorcist
in the world. The Spanish priest visited the
Asamblea to rid it of demonic spirits.
No, not the politicians, but rather the
demons of the human body.
The visit by the exorcist was at the
invitation of Liberation party legislator,
Fernando Sánchez.
Fortea is in Costa Rica visiting Sánchez
when "we were eating lunch and told me he
wanted me to come to know the Legislature, I
gladly agreed to his request and I invited
him to come with me", said the legislator.
Although the priest was at the legislature
as a visitor and not on an official visit,
he did say that he felt no demonic presence
in the halls Asemblea.
It is not known if the legislature was in
session at the time and/or if any other
legislators were present in the building.
"I am not here (visiting the legislature) in
any type of exorcism function", said the
Spanish priest while smiling.
José Antonio Fortea Cucurull (born in
Barbastro, Huesca, October 11 of 1968) is a
Catholic priest and theologian who
specializes in demonology and writer.
