Gas Price Hike
On The Horizon
Tighten the belt because gasoline prices
will be shooting through the roof next month
when the price of a litre of super will got
to ¢601 colones and regular to ¢582, if the
Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios
Públicos (Aresep) approves the latest
proposal.
Currently a litre of super sells for ¢567
and regular ¢549.
The price of diesel fuel will also see a
jump next month in the Aresep approval, when
a litre of diesel will cost ¢506 from the
current ¢472.
The Aresep says it is taking into account
the price of fuel on international markets
between July 24 and August 13.
