ALBA To Found Fishing, Aquiculture Compnany
Caracas - Venezuela and Ecuador will create
a Grand-National Fishing and Aquiculture Co.
as part of the projects of the Bolivarian
Alliance of the Peoples of Our America
(ALBA), reported the Ministry of Agriculture
and Lands.
The President of the Socialist Institute of
Fishing and Aquiculture Gilberto Jimenez
explained that during the stay of an
Ecuadorian delegation here a cooperation
agreement was signed aimed to create the
company and other agreements were signed.
The Cooperation for the production of
herring and shrimp are included within the
agreement signed.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Lands
Richard Canan affirmed Ecuadorian experts
will back growth of shrimp production
through a balanced diet for fish.
In a press note Canan said they are trying
to provide fish growing lakes and
development of cage projects in the sea to
increase coast production. |
