Guatemalan Officer Suspect of Keeping Drug
Guatemala - An
unidentified high police command member is
suspect Friday of having kept a part of the
cocaine shipment seized in this capital
August 6.
The Public Ministry ordered the arrest of an
officer from the National Civilian Police'
Criminal Investigations Division, whose name
was not proportionate, Prensa Libre
newspaper reported today.
The officer is accused of plotting, illegal
associations, justice obstruction, trade,
traffic, and drug storage, because there are
some doubts on his behavior.
The 830-kg shipment was discovered yesterday
at a capital area, meanwhile another one
founded shortly before in the southern
Quetzal Port the same day was of 210 kg. |
