Media Cannot Stop Latin America Progress
Caracas - The international media campaign
against Venezuela will not stop the process
of changes brewing in Latin America as
alternatives to the world capitalist system,
Minister for Communication and Information
Blanca Eekhout said.
In a press conference at Miraflores Palace,
Eekhout stressed that discrediting the
process of transformations led by President
Hugo Chavez will not check the impetus of
the peoples of the region to build societies
based on fairness, equality and social
justice.
Chavez is not a threat, as they insist, but
rather the synthesis of an unstoppable
historical project, as the Latin American
peoples are aware of the failure of
capitalism, which lies and uses its war
power to remain, and the latest example is
Honduras, where a coup was perpetrated
against President Manuel Zelaya.
