Turrialba is all set to host the ninth "Expoferia del Queso" that starts on July 3 and run to July 11. This year the fair will be held at the Paradero Turístico San Buenaventura in Turrialba, located near the hydroelectric project, Reventazón-Angostura, with the entrace in front of the CATIE. The number of deaths due to the AH1N1 virus this year is now at thirteen, the latest victim of the killer virus is a 57 year woman from Los Chiles in the northern zone. The woman, whose identity was not released to the public, died last Friday.

Closing the San José - Caldera is perhaps a prudent move on the part of transport officials, but what are now to do, go back to the old road, the monte de Aguacate or the Cambronero? No way, I think I will stay home until they re-open ruta 27 completely.
