With five votes in
favour and two against, the
magistrates of the Sala
Constitucional (Constitutional
court) yesterday said that the
Tratado de Libre Comercio (TLC)
- free trade agreement with the
United States - is not
unconstitutional and paved the
way for the Tribunal Supremo de
Elecciones (TSE) to move ahead
with holding the referendum.
