According to a new report by
FinnWatch, an organization that
collects, analyses, and
disseminates information about
Finnish companies, the
controversial export of hospital
equipment to Costa Rica - known
locally as the Caja-Fischel
scandal that involves former
president Rafael Angel Calderón
- involves extensive
bribery, which has spread to
Finland as well.
Inflation Rate Higher that
Predicted; November Inflation

It is no big secret that living
in Costa Rica has become more
expensive, especially in the
last several months. According
to figures released by the
Instituto Costarricense de
Estadística y Censos (INEC) -
statistics and census office -
the accumulated inflation for
November reached 12.94% and
should settle at around 14%
overall for 2005.

export goods tariff-free to the
25-member European Union (EU)
starting from January 2009,

All 250.000 New Cellular Lines Already Assigned
