With obscenely overpaid public workers going on strike for more, and a government willing to take on debt to pay them, CR is headed to becoming another Greece in a few years.

Yes. They are. That is the magic of these indefinite strikes. There is zero interest to return to work since they are getting paid anyway. Until the government steps in at some point.

Execute the top 20% of Recope both Union and Management, this will end the strike and lower the wages and benefits if not do it again.!

CR is in trouble because these people make too much money—now they’re striking for more. Does anyone know if they are getting paid for not working?

My buddy who drives trucks already has been recruited by the goverment to deliver fuel problems is going to be solved very fast.

I highly doubt this will last very long (in terms of the airport), to be honest. Police officers, on the order of the government, already “took control” of most RECOPE facilities this morning, though since all of the workers are on strike there is still no one to deliver the fuel. Private tankers will probably be brought in tomorrow I would imagine, though.

Are you serious? Do you mean to tell me that with CR dependent on the Tourism business that comes into the country through SJO that the government does not have the power/authority to issue some kind of injunction or order that fuel for the airlines will be in adequate supply at the airport? UNBELIEVABLE!
