CO2 causes acidification, true, but it is not the only thing, so does garbage and decomposing waste. i believe other pollutants are more of a problem today than CO2 and the CO2 argument makes it easy for us to lose focus on the other more pressing problems such as over-fishing and various chemical pollution, sewage, pesticides and all sorts of runoff. CO2 is a long struggle, a culture, a change in our way of life.
