Firstly, if you're not illiterate like many gringos, read about how all those Communists took over Russia. You'll find it was thousands of U.S. Jews and cash and gold to murder the royal family ruling Russia, and then the gringo Jews ended up occupying close to 90% of the ''new'' Communist government. Some changed their names to sound less Jewish, but Stalin, Lenin and most all of the rest were Jews from the U.S. You stupid, uneducated embarrassment to the human race. Go back to staring at the aptly named ''boob tube'' you hold the world record for staring at.

Ken. Very objective commontary. Putin is doing what all country leaders do.A quire power! He has many chess players on the board with many more moves he can make.I believe his goal is to bring back “The Soviet Union” to a strong power in the world.Like you said,that is not out of line with other world leaders.For thousands of years it has all come down to one thing, EGO.

Dr Meno. Why so hostile? Dr., I know what America is. I watched the changes and as you,I did not like what was happening. So,ten years ago I retired to a foreign country. I choose not to participate in the crimes of America. I loved my neighbors and trusted my government until I could not take it any more.
Putin was not only in the KGB,he was the KGB and still is today. His profile is out there for many years now and is not hard to figure out. He is a master chessman and he is playing the would as if it were a chess match. Obama is losing the match. I understand why you called me a murderer. I trusted,I lost and I got the hell out.

This is a mess of an article.

On one hand, it assumes that readers already fear and dislike Putin. I mean, it tells us that “we” were “outraged” by Putin’s intervention in Ukraine. Actually, I wasn’t. I think Putin is roughly right about this and both the US and Western Europe are wrong.

On the other hand, it tells us that Putin is rational and strategic. Yes he is, but these would be positive characteristics if the article didn’t start out by assuming that we fear and dislike the guy.

The way I see it, Russia isn’t doing anything different in Latin America that what the US, China, and a bunch of other countries are doing. Let’s wait until Russia does something bad here before we get all hot and bothered. If the severest criticism is that Russia’s involvements in Latin America are rational and strategic, I think I’ll have another beer and watch a soccer game.
