The occupation of “dock worker” is not classified as a skilled position. There are too many people looking for work these days for the government to put up with this type of thing. The striking workers instead should have faced criminal charges for the damages they did, and be summarily fired and with no benefits and of course, with no possibility of being hired again.

The top 100 Union Officials should be fired the rest should lose a months pay. If they strike again all of them should be fired.

There is no downside here for the strikers. Remember the teachers who for over a month got ALL their pay plus the Easter vacation as well? Who is next the Sanitation union? and so on ……. Solis showing he is a wimp being held hostage.

So now the Costa Rican Goverment is going to pay the dock workers so they can burning tires and holding up cargo. WHAT THE HELL IS THE COSTA RICAN GOVERMENT THINKING. Layoff these dock workers and grow a pair of balls President Solis. I guess we are now some sort of mafia state.
