A good first step. However longline shark finning boats still operate with little or no enforcement around Cocos Island. To me this is just another example of the farcical nature of &#039;eco tourism&#039; that Costa Rica exports. There are shark finning boats at Cocos Island EVERY DAY and somehow, despite the $35/day park fee, the $500 film fee...the park has little or no resources to combat shark finning.]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is all well and good.
