Isn’t Claro a Mexican firm and hasn’t it made serious inroads into CR’s cell phone market? If so, this one company alone may explain the trend, and since in this industry the gains of companies like Claro come at the partial expense of losses to ICE, the net change may not amount to much more than where the profits end up. Mind, I don’t have a dog in this hunt and am all for economic ties with Mexico, just wonder if there’s more to this than one big company entering the opened cell phone market.
