However, My surfer friends and beach combers like a modest place with typical affordable meals..Spend their time in the surf. So my $1,000 for my entire vacation, except plane fare would not last long here a few days maybe.

I would like to find inexpensive safe lodging for 2 under 50 bucks a day including all taxes. Not spending Hundreds of $$$ and ” chef” prepared meals… Give me gallo pinto, fresh fruit and the casado and a local store to buy my wine and beer. Not all of us could afford places like this.

Many travel here and never really interact with the locals except the maids, and bartenders what a shame. You might as well stay in USA and go to a local resort, Disney land or some other such place..
