Is it because of proper timing with elections coming on and will it continue? The over valued Colon had to start devaluing or it would have a financial crisis like what happened in Mexico in 1994 when the Mexican Peso was over valued…

This was well prior to the market problems of 2008, and subsequent stimulus.

Chavez selling oil to CR in colones played a major part in this dollar leveling.
